AV is a new membership-based artist equipment library at The Luminary that provides resources and tools to area artists, musicians, hobbyists and designers. AV has the framework of a co-op, allowing members to share expensive or hard-to-own tools. The costs of items are defrayed, The Luminary provides storage and maintenance of the equipment, and the membership process is simple.

AV offers three membership levels for individuals and an organizational membership for arts organizations and nonprofits. Starting at $25 a month, the memberships offer access to our Media Lab, Woodshop, Photo/Video Studio and Open Studio Space as well as discounts on equipment rentals.

We are currently seeking to offer workshops as part of AV and are in need of teachers. Visit our workshop page for more information!

Workshop opportunities include, but are not limited to: basic web development (build a site, make it work), grant writing for artists (have skills, need $$), darkroom 101, studio lighting techniques, beginning sewing (pattern reading, etc.), audio production, basic woodworking (building frames from scratch!), and more!
