The Luminary’s critically acclaimed concert programming returns in June with the opening of our new location at 2701 Cherokee Street.
As in years past, we will present a diverse year-round lineup of notable international touring artists in our gallery space, bringing in both exceptional new voices and established artists pushing their own boundaries. The first concerts will include Hercules and Love Affair; Fucked Up; and Sylvan Esso with many more announcements coming soon.
Each performance creates a forum in which both artists and the audience can take music seriously as art. To that end, The Luminary pairs artists whose music creates a context and conversation within a gallery setting, aiming to transcend genres and play with the expectations of traditional concerts. The Luminary’s new 300-plus capacity venue is an ideal environment for artists and audiences to experience music. The expansive 17,000 sq/ft former theater has an open span design with soaring vaulted ceiling, dynamic acoustics and is planned to have a full service bar.

In coordination with the start of music programming, The Luminary will launch a 2014 Concert Series Subscription. A limited number of Concert Series Subscriptions can be purchased for $150.00 and are good for admission to all concerts in 2014 making it the best value offer on concert tickets.
