Band Interviews

In an attempt to place the Elevator Music Series in a broader context than simple performance, we interview most of the artists who perform about practical issues of being a working musician. Whether it is about touring, recording, working with labels, self-releasing music, the changing nature of distribution and marketing, or simply about the day to day life of being a musician, we attempt to offer insight into the process so that it seems graspable for an emerging musician. The interviews will be in various formats on video and via email.
