Memberships
We are proud to announce our new MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM. For the first time, we are offering memberships for a variety of levels and benefits that go directly to help support The Luminary’s innovative work in the community. With arts funding being cut from most state and national agencies, it is up to individuals in our area to ensure that the creative culture of our city continues to grow. The Luminary isn’t just a gallery and venue–it is an incubator that makes new ideas possible. Our members are true patrons that help support the creative ideas that develop the community as a whole.
The perks are pretty nice too. Members will receive discounts on workshops and events, one-of-a-kind editions from our exhibitions and resident artists, invites to special preview events and more. The editions will be unique art objects created specifically for our members and will be sent directly to you 4 times per year. Think of it as an art subscription and you become a contemporary art collector, overnight.

*The editions may be prints, multiples, sculptural objects, art books, music and more and will be commissioned by artists from our exhibition and residency programs. Editions are sent out quarterly in March, June, September and December.
Purchase Editions Individually for $50 each (unframed)
New Edition: Sage Dawson, Requiem for Night Flights, Colored pencil, acrylic, and gold leaf on collagraph print. Edition of 50. Iconic imagery, architectural references, and map-like symbols press viewers to find familiar traces in the landscape and to revisit the archaic notion of sublimity. Requiem for Night Flights highlights terra incognita, in this case an aerial view of the land between New Mexico and Missouri, originally inspired by a series of flights between the two.
Purchase “A Piece of the Building” Sculpture
We are offering a limited number of sculptures created from “pieces of the building.” These unique objects will contain items taken from the construction site, documenting this process and offering you a true part of the building project.

Membership FAQ
Q. Is it an option to not accept the gifts included in the membership in order to get a full tax write-off?
A. Yes! Just let us know if you would prefer to waive the items and we are happy to provide a full tax write-off.
Q. Are the funds from membership fees restricted or unrestricted?
A. The funds are unrestricted. We will use all funds to go to support our general operations budget and to support our programs and events.
