An Evening with Califone: March 11, 2010

0

On Thursday, March 11 we will open the second season of the Elevator Music Series with a special engagement with Califone. The band will be performing live to the film All My Friends are Funeral Singers and will follow the film with a set from the band’s back catalogue.  All My Friends are Funeral Singers is the new album from the experimental Chicago roots-rock band as well as the first feature film from writer-director (and Califone’s frontman) Tim Rutili. Fresh off of an opening stint with Wilco, this will be a great chance to see the band in an intimate and artful setting.

Tickets are $12 and are available online at Brown Paper Tickets.

Doors will open at 7pm and the show/film will begin promptly at 8pm. Tickets are general admission, but seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The Elevator Music Series is presented by The Luminary and KDHX.
