In conjunction with AV*Artist Equipment Library, the Luminary is offering an exciting schedule of workshops led by local professionals to participants of all skill levels. Workshops are offered at a discounted rate for AV members, according to membership level.

Note: Workshops at The Luminary are intended to encourage a conversation between the community and the arts and are not intended for business use. The Luminary is not equipped to accommodate dance classes, theater/improv groups,  yoga classes or children’s classes.

Class Schedule:

Instructor: Arsenal Studios
Class: TMI: 20 Topics for Success on the Web
Synopsis: This workshop will allocate 10 minutes per topic on a wide range of subjects that are crucial for web publishing success and improved visibility online. Instructor will be “working against” a countdown timer for each topic. When “time is up”, the class must move on to the next topic. This will be a fast paced, high-energy roundtable. Topics include search engine optimization, web publishing platforms (wordpress, tumblr,etc.), preparing and optimizing media for web, effective social media usage, design and development shortcuts / strategies, and much more. Lecture will also be broadcast live on the web and a forum will be provided for offsite participants to contribute and interact.

Date: December 3rd 12p-4p and December 8th 6p-10p    Cost: $25       Class is limited to 30 people
