The Luminary hosts 3,000 square feet of space perfect for event rentals, programs, and other events. Located right in the heart of Cherokee, the building offers high ceilings, a built-in bar, and raw-space feel. Please see below for our offerings of use.

  • The Luminary offers a prime space for weddings, parties, and other small events (250 person capacity) at competitive rates for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Rentals include: tables, chairs, AV/Tech for an additional fee, staffing for an additional fee. Third-party catering/bar service is allowed without preferred vendors. Event rentals are subject to discretion of The Luminary and will be approved in conjunction with the existing exhibition calendar.

    *Bar and catering is allowed with no preferred vendors at this moment. The Luminary’s staff cannot serve or sell alcohol without the provision of an outside catering license. Please note on your inquiry if you are interested in this service.

  • The Luminary allocates the use of our space for 3-4 partnerships with mission-aligned non-profits, small collectives that are not incorporated, and small businesses that have a creative component to them. Partnered organizations should provide events that are in service to the community, with preference given to neighbors in Benton Park/on or around Cherokee Street. The Luminary can provide its 3,000 sq. foot gallery space, access to AV/Tech, space, and some cross-promotion through our social media. The Luminary cannot provide direct coordination, planning, and execution of the program. At this time, we cannot accommodate partnerships for larger corporations, larger for-profit businesses, and for-profit events that are not creative.
