The Luminary actively publishes in print and online through a variety of channels and approaches to respond the urgencies of our moment and to embody innovative approaches to public-making across platforms.

MARCH is a journal of art & strategy launched in March of 2020 by The Luminary. MARCH features print editions alongside an active online platform commissioning essays, interviews, and experimental critical writing with a global perspective. MARCH is a journal of art & strategy founded by Sarrita Hunn and James McAnally as an expansion of their previous publication, Temporary Art Review.

Temporary Art Review (2011-2019) was founded by Sarrita Hunn and James McAnally in order to create space for discussion across disparate geographies, respond to issues that artists and arts organizers are concerned about in the present moment, and attempt to understand how equitable exchange in the arts could be modeled, matured and embedded in our daily practices. The Luminary acted as the Publisher of Temporary Art Review since its inception and continues to provide ongoing support.
