Join us and filmmaker Daze Flores for an intimate evening dedicated to healing the inner child. H.E.L.D. (Healing Empowers Loving Discoveries) is a safe, nurturing space where emotions are welcomed and honored. This event invites you to come as you are, bringing along a journal and anything cozy to sit on as we journey together in self-discovery.
The night will center around an 11-minute self-portrait documentary, setting the tone for deep introspection. We’ll explore our feelings through collaging, doodling, and open dialogues, creating a space for authentic connection and creative expression. Whether you're seeking solace, understanding, or simply a moment of peace, H.E.L.D. offers an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals on a shared path of healing.
The event is free, but reservations are required.
FILM SYNOPSIS
Todo a Su Tiempo is a documentary self-portrait that intertwines audio diaries and personal ephemera to illuminate Daze Flores’s five-year journey through self-discovery and mental health. It’s a raw, introspective dive into the freedom found in accepting and releasing trauma, capturing the evolving story of Daze’s life that’s only just begun.
DIRECTOR BIO
Daze Flores (they/them) is a fearless creative truth-teller who’s spent the last decade honing their craft as a writer and director, both in the industry and through their healing journey. Fueled by curiosity and a love for deep emotional connections, Daze crafts films and spaces that speak to anyone who’s ever felt alone, ashamed, afraid—or empowered to be their true self.
They exist beyond the bounds of Queerness and Latinidad—they are simply DAZE: fluid, spirited, and uniquely their own. Daze masterfully weaves themes of identity, friendship, and wellness into vibrant visuals that blend diverse genres and mediums. Their relentless drive and vision have unlocked doors with brands like Beats by Dre, Red Bull, Arizona Tea, and Disney. With 170k+ followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, Daze’s journey shows how powerful it is to be unapologetically yourself.
A 2023 graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Daze currently co-runs multimedia production company Adorn Films, where they’re busy cooking up fresh narratives with their creative partner and close friend, Eric Nguyen. But that’s not all—outside of building their empire, Daze continues to expand their list of hobbies and sidequests. Life is abundant, and Daze is making the most of it!
