The Luminary partners with The Center for Aesthetic Research

The Luminary is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with The Center for Aesthetic Research, seeded from a longtime collaborator and resident studio artist, Kevin Harris. 

The Center for Aesthetic Research (CAR), brings the presentation of time-based art forms and experimental education to The Luminary through public performances, workshops, artist talks, and six-week long courses, continuing the organization’s commitment to providing accessible resources for artists, and critical engagement of theory + practice. 

The Luminary will provide space for CAR’s activities and collaborate across audiences to bring new forms to our existing programs.

First offerings include ELECTRO/ACOUSTIC on April 28th, Fulcrum: Dream Phrase on May 11th, and The Philosophy of New Music course starting on May 19th. Tickets are available online now, with special discounts for members of The Luminary.
