Join us for a storytelling workshop, facilitated by local arts educators José Garza and Miriam Ruiz. Invited by the Moving Stories team, and engaging themes of our current exhibition-Moving Stories in the Making-Garza and Ruiz will engage with written, oral, and visual practices of storytelling. Miriam Ruiz is an art educator, artist, and curator. She currently manages school and community programming at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and is curator for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. José Garza an artist and educator based in St. Louis Missouri, and is currently an artist in residence at the Kranzberg Arts Foundation in St. Louis. He also serves as the Museum Academic Programs Coordinator at the Kemper Art Museum.  Programs Coordinator at the Kemper Art Museum.
