Make a Zine. Break the Rules! All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Join us at The Luminary on Thursday, October 15th for a collaborative zine workshop led by Naomi Shintani Deibel.

All ages and experience levels are welcome, whether you're a longtime zine fan or can't remember the last time you picked up a pair of scissors!

The workshop will take place from 6:00-8:00pm. At 6:15pm, Naomi will offer a brief introduction before participants begin creating a collaborative zine together.

In this workshop, participants are invited to contribute their own perspectives, experiment with different materials and techniques, and collectively create a zine.

There are no fixed rules or boundaries. Through drawing, writing, collage, and other creative approaches, participants will explore the possibilities of zine-making while working both individually and as a group. After the workshop, the artist will copy, bind, and finish a zine made up of all participants' work. Participants are also welcome to come with their own project in mind and complete a zine to take home that evening.

Presented in collaboration witht the Goethe-Institut St. Louis.
